One Broker Director Shortlisted for Top Industry Award
We’re delighted to announce that One Broker Branch Director Allison Partlett has been shortlisted for a top industry award thanks to her tireless work in insurance.
Allison, who is based at our Cambridge office, has been shortlisted for the Role Model of the Year accolade at the Women in Insurance Awards 2020.
The nomination was put forward by members of the One Broker senior leadership team in recognition of her outstanding work in insurance.
Over the course of her career, she’s worked on both personal lines and commercial insurance, gaining a breadth of experience, which she uses to support and guide members of the team.
Says Allison: “I’m thrilled to be shortlisted for this award. I’ve worked in this sector for my entire career, starting as a clerk and working my way up to director and business owner. Along the way, I’ve always tried to be a positive role model for both male and female members of my team. While there are ups and downs in any career, recent months have been particularly challenging, as businesses have navigated through the coronavirus pandemic.
“Leading a remote team of 50 people during the lockdown has been a test – but this is where leadership has been of paramount importance. By leading with empathy and understanding, the One Broker team has weathered the storm and is looking to the future with positivity. I am flattered that I have been nominated in recognition of my leadership style.”

The winner will be announced at a glittering ceremony at the Royal Lancaster London in November, where the insurance industry’s leading figures will be out in force, celebrating female contributions to sector success. Keep your eyes peeled, to see if Allison wins in her category.
