Changing lives in our community – Ian Ling shaping the lives of rising sports stars
We are so proud of how our staff go the extra mile to make a difference in our communities. Over the last 12 months we’ve posted some wonderful stories and it is great to end the year highlighting the incredible work that Ian Ling does for his community in Ipswich.

Ian is lead coach at Orwell Panthers Athletics Club, which offers equal opportunities for those with disabilities. The club has 19 athletes that meet on Wednesday evenings at Northgate Sports Centre and provides training for those with physical and mental disabilities.

A quote from Ian in the article really highlights the difference he is making: "There is loads of enjoyment and hopefully smiles on their faces while they're doing it and smiles when they leave. That then puts a smile on my face and if they come back week after week then obviously I'm doing something right."
